What’s in the Bag: Chris Gotterup at the 2025 Scottish Open

Golf shoe brand FootJoy has revealed its new range of models for men and women delivering even more style and comfort for this autumn and winter. Check them out here.
FootJoy is the number one seller of golf shoes in the US and the premier shoe on the LPGA Tour, worn by top players like Ariya Jutanugarn, Brittany Lincicome, Austin Ernst and Bronte Law.
In the men’s game, Justin Thomas wears FootJoy shoes, and at the 2022 Masters Tiger Woods wore a pair of the brand’s all-Black Packard shoes for extra stability and comfort.
In terms of prices, all these models range from around €100 for the Contour Jogger to €195 for the Stratos. All are spikeless apart from the spiked boots.

Headlining the new range is an improved version of the brand’s popular Stratos model. When it was first introduced in 2021, it brought new levels of comfort with its StratoFoam underfoot cushioning. This is probably the one to go for if you’re looking for supreme comfort.
The improvement comes in an all-new sculptured heel piece and moulded inside heel for even more comfort and a more athletic look. The exterior has soft leather uppers and the VersaTrax+ outsole and the StratoFaom midsole will give you superb traction and cushioning both on and off the course.
Men’s colours: White / Charcoal / Blue Jay, Black / Charcoal / Blue Jay
Women’s colours: White / Grey / Ice Blue, Vanilla / Merlot

FootJoy’s Flex XP is perfect for golfers who want an athletic look to their shoe and waterproof protection. It’s got a new mesh upper increasing breathability without taking away any of the waterproof protection.
This shoe has a flared heel piece, featuring a TPU section, which provides the athletic look and structure, and the VersaTrax outsole gives golfers a versatile look and traction on and off the course.
Men’s colours: White / Black / Red, Black / Red, Grey / White / Black
Women’s colours: Grey / Blue / White, Beige / Peach / Blue, Black / Grey / White

The Contour Jogger is for golfers who like that retro and casual look. It features a water-resistant suede upper and a VersaTrax-inspired outsole made from recycled rubber, which adds a sustainability element. It also delivers great grip and feel both on and off the course.
Colours: Blue, Grey, Brown

This model was created for women golfers looking for a trainer-style shoe. This model features luxurious leather uppers in a classic casual look, and is a great addition to FootJoy’s choices for female players.
Colours: Black / White, White / Green / Blue

This model has proved to be one of the most popular shoes available since it first appeared back in January. Back then it came in largely white colourways, but there’s now a new black option which is a great for the less sunny and dry conditions of autumn and winter.
Colours: White / White / Blue, White / Black / Orange, Black, Navy / White / Red

FootJoy’s popular boots have now been upgraded. The new Stormwalker Boot provides superb waterproof protection, traction and comfort in all kinds of playing conditions. The fur-lining of the women’s version adds warmth and even more comfort.
The Stormwalker XT has increased waterproof protection with a zip-up shroud that stops water coming in through the laced area of the boot.
